Chapter: 1959
Yet, Jennie had no clue who he was. Reflecting on his gaze, a wild suspicion crossed her mind.
Post their meal at KFC, Sabrina and Tyrone accompanied Jennie for a leisurely stroll through the mall.
Their dinner back at Starriver Bay was nostalgic, reminiscent of times before their split.
Following the meal, they enjoyed a neighborhood walk.
After a couple of laps, Sabrina checked the time and hinted, “It's getting late. I think I should head back after this loop.”
“Why don't you consider staying the night?" Tyrone, giving Sabrina a thoughtful. look, softly suggested.
Sabrina offered a smile but declined.
Tyrone remained silent, lips tightened.
At the villa's entrance, Sabrina paused.
Tyrone, with Jennie now inside the villa, returned after fetching his car keys. Approached the passenger door, he opened it and beckoned Sabrina.
As Sabrina neared the vehicle, Tyrone caught her wrist gently, came closer, and murmured, "Are you really sure about not staying?"
Leaning against the car, Sabrina's heart raced with the closeness.
His intense stare made her shift her gaze, and she softly declined, "I'm not staying."
“Why not?" Tyrone drew closer once more, his hand gently encircling her waist, his breath warm against her cheek, carrying his distinctive scent. "Keilani's in custody, and Royce has promised she'll be no threat once she's out. You and the baby are safe now."
Their faces were merely inches apart.
Tyrone's eyes, deep and luminous, seemed to capture the night itself.
Sabrina found herself momentarily mesmerized, her eyes lowered, her lips slightly apart, her mind racing for words. The thought of Keilani had been a barrier to her return.
"Consider moving back?"
"I... I don't..."
Before Sabrina could fully articulate her thoughts, Tyrone gently pressed his lips to hers, his hand supporting her head, his kiss deep and earnest.
