Chapter: 1989
Tyrone didn't respond. With the situation as it was, he glanced down, pondered briefly, and then stated, "Ten days. Ten days later, I'll come to Philade myself to bring her back."

"A month is more reasonable."

"Mid-month, Jennie has her uncle's wedding to attend," Tyrone pointed out earnestly.

Kaleb internally rejected letting Jennie return for attending the wedding.

With a casual smile, Kaleb remarked, "That wedding was never something I supported. Jennie doesn't need to be there."

After a bit of negotiation, they agreed Jennie would spend two weeks in Philade.

Tyrone planned to escort Jennie in person. “When do you plan to head back? I'll sort out the travel details," he proposed.

“In a day or two."

“and Keilani?" Tyrone inquired, eyebrows raised.

Kaleb caught on immediately and scoffed. “She's not going anywhere."

The next day, in the VIP lounge at Mathias International Airport, Kaleb arrived from his hotel to find his delightful granddaughter already seated on a couch.

Jennie was nestled next to a woman, engrossed in the tablet she held, engaging in lively conversation.

The woman radiated a serene elegance, while Jennie was brimming with charm and vitality. Together, they created a scene of beautiful harmony. Onlookers might mistake them for a mother and her daughter.

Kaleb found himself momentarily captivated as if glimpsing his wife in her younger days. He suddenly remembered Jennie mentioning that Sabrina was heading to Philade for work.

Kaleb's thoughts drifted to Keilani, who failed to win Jennie's heart and grasp the situation, even being the cause of Jennie's car mishap.

Thankfully, Jennie came out of it with just a minor scratch. Perhaps, it was beneficial for Keilani to spend time reflecting in the police station, avoiding further chaos.

Kaleb cleared his throat and approached with a steady gait. "Jennie, darling, your grandpa's here."

"Grandpa!" Jennie's voice rang out as she looked up, her face lighting up with a beaming smile.

Sabrina also glanced up. She recognized the elderly gentleman from the mall.

Kaleb's eyes quickly scanned Sabrina. Their gazes intersected briefly before they diverted their attention, acting as if the other were invisible.
