"Okay," Horace responded and hurried to catch up with the departing officers. Tyrone was absent. Being Tyrone's father, he felt he couldn't stand by and let Sabrina, his stepdaughter, also as his daughter-in-law, endure this, especially not with his unborn grandson involved!

Rita entered the room and inquired, “Sabrina, how are you holding up? I've been so worried since I heard about your car incident."

Sabrina gave her a chilly look and asked, "Rita, are you alright?"

She was baffled by Rita's feigning concern.

"Please, Sabrina, don't say that. I'm genuinely concerned about you."

"Your concern is not appreciated by me. Please, just go." Then, with a subtle nod, Sabrina signaled the two bodyguards.

The guards stepped forward and escorted Rita out of the room.

Horace got the details of the car incident from the police. As he approached Sabrina's ward, he spotted Rita coming his way. “So soon? How is she doing? Why not stay a bit longer with her?"

Rita, with a reassuring smile, replied, “Sabrina's only had a minor injury. She's alright. But to be sure about the baby, she'll need to stay in the hospital for a bit. She seemed a bit down, so I thought it best to let her rest."

Understanding, Horace nodded. "Fine. Then I'll refrain from visiting now. Have you asked her about what had transpired?"

“Yes. To dodge the runaway minibus, her car hit a pole, but luckily, that was it. I've already sent someone to look into that Rose," Rita, indignantly, with a hint of anger in her eyes, remarked. “If not for Sabrina's sharp-witted driver, things could have been much worse. We can't just let the responsible party off the hook!"

"Absolutely!" Horace agreed. He then instructed the driver to take Rita to the hotel first before he went back to his office.

The true identity of Rose was hardly a secret. It quickly became known to Horace that she was Kira's assistant.

Kira, holding a substantial amount of shares in the Blakely Group, reaped a hefty bonus annually, amassing significant wealth over the years.

Years ago, Kira had operated a company in Hoijery where Rose served as her assistant. Occasionally, Rose would handle Kira's personal errands alongside her professional duties.

This revelation shocked and infuriated Horace. He was aware that Kira harbored no fondness for Sabrina. Otherwise, Kira wouldn't have interfered with Keilani's reunion with Jennie.

However, Horace was unprepared for the depth of Kira's aversion to Sabrina.
