During the drive, Sabrina noticed Jennie couldn't sit still from excitement and smiled. "Jennie, are you excited today? Looking forward to the visit?"

Jennie nodded. "I haven't seen Bettie in so long, and I've heard her new house is stunning."

"Your father has a similar one there. If you like, you could stay there sometime."

"Really? I'll talk to him about it when I get home."

Upon reaching the villa, Jennie and Sabrina exited the car and Brenton retrieved some gifts from the trunk.

Sabrina pressed the doorbell.

In no time, Bettie rushed from inside and opened the door. “Sabrina, Jennie, you made it. Come on in!"

"Bettie, your house is beautiful!"

"Maybe you should ask your dad to get you one like it."

As they chatted, Lance appeared, greeted Sabrina with a warm nod and smile, and then turned his attention to Jennie.

Jennie stared at Lance with her large eyes.

Lance locked eyes with Jennie, bracing himself for being exposed by her. At that moment, instead of being agitated, he was relatively calm.

The next second, Lance heard Jennie's youthful voice, saying, "Bettie, is this your husband? He is so handsome!"

Lance was stunned, speechless.

Bettie took a look at Lance and brimmed with pride. She nodded and said, "Yes."

Bettie then gave Lance a playful wink.

Lance snapped back to reality and adjusted his glasses, stepping forward. "Pleased to meet you, Jennie. Let's head inside."

Jennie extended her hand to Lance.

Lance hadn't expected Jennie to choose against exposing him. As he took her hand and walked forward, he glanced down at Jennie and noticed her blinking.

Bettie gave Sabrina and Jennie a tour of the villa. Bored with just sitting and chatting, she suggested they go to a room to watch a film.
