One evening, when the maid was making coffee, Marnie found an excuse to send her away and slipped the powder into Sergio's coffee.

The maid had been hired after Marnie and Sergio's wedding. After only a few months on the job, she noticed a distance between the couple.

However, since they had a child, she assumed it was just their way of interacting. She never suspected anything unusual and didn't expect Marnie would drug Sergio's coffee.

When the maid brought in the coffee, Marnie felt pleased. She asked Chloe to watch Rogelio while she took a shower.
