Chapter: 1149
Claudia shrugged, looking unperturbed.
"Maybe he's a celebrity, and he doesn't want to get photographed secretly.”
Joann snorted, and the pair entered the villa.
The neighborhood was located in a rather remote part of the city. It took Claudia and Joann forty minutes to get there.
In addition, it took them ten minutes to locate the villa from the entrance of the neighborhood.
The villa was quite spacious. The garden alone was more than 500 square meters in size.
Claudia and Joann arrived at the villa's front door a minute later.
The door was closed but not locked.
When Joann rang the doorbell, the speaker beside it made a crackling noise, followed by a man's voice.
"Come in. I'm on the second floor."
With a raised brow, Claudia pushed the door open.
At the foyer's vestibule, the two women found two pairs of throwaway slippers.
Joann watched Claudia slip into the slippers with a doubtful expression.
"This man is so strange. Are you sure he's trustworthy?
Maybe we should head back."
Claudia answered with a reassuring smile, “Don't worry. It was Mathews who introduced him to me, so he must be trustworthy. Maybe he's just busy right now."
“If you say so."
Either way, Joann did not have a favorable first impression of him at the moment.
After changing their shoes, Joann and Claudia went to the second floor.
On the second floor was a vast studio.
As soon as they reached the upper floor, they saw the owner of the villa. He was wearing a white, loose shirt and beige casual pants.
He regarded the two of them glumly before his eyes rested on Claudia.
“Miss Marshall."
"Mr. Quinn." Claudia gestured at Joann.
