Chapter: 1226
Bennett held her tightly in his arms. "Did you have a nightmare?"
Claudia shook her head. "No."
She didn't have a nightmare. She was dreaming about something related to Lucille.
“Did something make you unhappy when you saw your friend?"
Claudia gazed up at him. She shook her head and then nodded.
“It's not that I was unhappy to see her," she said in a muffled voice as she buried her head in his arms again.
Bennett caressed her hair and asked, "Tell me what happened."

After she finished speaking, her voice choked with sobs. “Bennett, is it difficult for young couples to have a happy ending?"
"I don't think so," Bennett replied firmly. It was as if he had experienced a happy ending with someone he loved in his youth.
His certainty intrigued Claudia. She gazed at him for a while and asked, “Have you met such a person before?”
“I have."
It prompted Claudia's interest. "Do I know who that person is?"
"You do."
Her eyes widened in surprise.
“Well, who is it then?" she asked, considering that most of Bennett's friends were single.
Bennett avoided answering the question.
“Why are you being so mysterious about it? Can't you tell me who it is? Claudia's curiosity only deepened.
