Chapter: 1255
His office was located on the 25th floor.

She kept that in mind.

The elevator made a rapid ascent and stopped within a minute.

As the doors glided open, Claudia noticed Jackson standing by, ready to meet her.

"Good afternoon, Mrs. Dreskin."

Claudia returned the greeting with a nod. "Hi, Jackson."

Jackson gestured for the elevator to close. "Mr. Dreskin's in a meeting right now. I'll show you to his office first. They should wrap up in about ten minutes."

Claudia nodded in agreement; she wasn't there to interrupt Bennett's workday.

“Right this way, Mrs. Dreskin."

Jackson led the way.

Walking behind him, Claudia realized that she had to take a slightly longer route to reach Bennett's office.

As she walked past several offices, Claudia surmised that these were probably the secretaries’ offices.

She took a quick look inside each and then moved on. At this time, Jackson, who was in front of her, had pushed the door of Bennett's office open and motioned for her to enter. "Mrs. Dreskin, this is Mr. Dreskin's office."

Bennett's office matched Claudia's expectations-it was both simple and spacious. Right in front of the entrance was a massive desk, spanning over three meters long.

A black sofa was at the right side of the door, a matching coffee table in the center, and a large bookshelf stood imposingly behind.

To the left side, a square-shaped liquor cabinet caught her eye, next to an invisible door.

Jackson mentioned casually, “That's Mr. Dreskin's personal Lounge over there. Feel free to check it out if you'd like."

"Sure, you can get back to your job. I'll take a peek inside.”

With a friendly nod, Jackson set down some food and drinks for her.

This time, he didn't come in again after leaving.

Filled with curiosity, Claudia nudged the lounge door open and stepped inside.

The lounge was spacious, easily spanning over 20 square meters, featuring a two-meter-wide wardrobe that touched the ceiling. To the right of the entrance was a bathroom.

Behind her was a king-sized bed adorned with silver-gray sheets, measuring 1.8 meters in width. It was like a small apartment.

After a brief look around, Claudia settled on the sofa, patiently awaiting Bennett's return.
