Chapter: 1270
Parking was a challenge in this area, so they had parked their car at a distance.
Across the street, the riverside park came alive with people enjoying evening strolls.
Claudia beamed with excitement.
"How about we go for a walk by the river?"
“Sure." Bennett nodded.
Before eight in the evening, the riverside was very lively.
Runners took to the paths, dancers twirled in the square, and singers performed, amplified by microphones and stereos.
The square was alive with a vibrant, festive atmosphere. Dancers glided in tango and waltz moves.
Numerous stalls were set up alongside the trees. Claudia didn't pause to inspect the items for sale, but instead, glanced around casually.
She really just wanted to take a walk.
It would be enjoyable to spend time with someone she Liked.
As they wandered, Claudia checked the time and noticed it was already 8 o'clock.
"We should head home."
If she didn't return soon, she would likely end up going to bed late tonight.
Eyeing her, Bennett asked with a smile, “Feeling tired?"
She shook her head.
"No, but it's already eight-thirty. We'll probably arrive home around nine."
"You're quite disciplined with your routine, Claudia."
Blushing, Claudia admitted, “It's a healthy habit to sleep early."
She couldn't quite match Bennett's discipline in this regard. He went to bed at midnight and rose at six-thirty the following day, yet he remained energetic all day long.
But Claudia needed her eight hours of sleep.
She typically went to bed around ten o'clock every night and would fall asleep by ten-thirty. She wouldn't wake up until seven in the morning the following day.
Bennett smiled, agreeing to take her back.
Just as they began retracing their steps, a young girl approached them.
