Chapter: 1346
Draped in the soft embrace of a white, low-necked sweater, he presented an aura of gentle elegance.

Claudia's fingers tightened around the fabric of his shirt. She surrendered to the symphony of sensations as she shut her eyes, allowing the man's kiss to weave its enchantment with a touch that moved between expertise and passion.

In the midst of the gentle kisses, her mouth parted so slightly, and all he felt was her enchanting suction on his Lips.

Unexpectedly, Bennett found himself in a moment he hadn't foreseen.

His hands instinctively tightened around her waist, pulling her into the warmth of his arms. "Fancy skipping the nap today?"

"I think it's time to put on my pajamas," Claudia said, snuggling into his shoulder.

Bennett's obsidian eyes glided over, capturing the sight of her ears tinted in red. With a warm smile, he let go of her hand. “I'll bring them to you."

“No. I've got this on my own."

Uttering her words, she swiftly slipped away from his embracing arms, twirled around, and dashed to the closet.

Soon, she was cozily clad in her pajamas.

Arching an eyebrow, Bennett watched as she glided to the opposite edge of the bed. She lifted the quilt and settled onto the mattress, revealing only half of her face. Her eyes locked onto his, and she uttered, "I'm sleeping."

A soft chuckle escaped him, and he transformed into his comfy pajamas, too.

This morning ushered in a frosty chill, the mercury plunging to a mere ten degrees Celsius. Within the confines of her room, the absence of heating left Claudia shivering as she nestled into her bed.

Had Bennett not cast a glance in her direction, she wouldn't have mustered the willingness to lie down on the bed.

As her mind wandered into the realms of distraction, an unseen force seized the quilt beside her, whisking it upward with a sudden and mischievous flair.

A shiver moved down Claudia's spine as a sudden gust of cold air pirouetted into the room, bringing the cherished aroma of aged wood.

In the blink of an eye, she was cradled in his arms, as if time itself had conspired to unite them in that fleeting moment.

Bennett emanated a comforting warmth, like a cozy embrace from a crackling fireplace. Claudia couldn't resist and leaned into him, savoring the soothing heat that enveloped her.

With a wide yawn, she snagged Bennett's hand in hers, surrendering to the embrace of slumber moments later.

Amidst the wintry chill day, Claudia had surrendered herself to a nap.

As her eyes fluttered open, the peaceful symphony of silence greeted her. In that tranquil room, Bennett remained a steadfast presence, undisturbed and unmoving, like a silent guardian by her side.

As he replied to the text Claudia rubbed her eyes. Slowly, she turned around to face him. "Did you not sleep?"

Emerging from the embrace of slumber, her voice tiptoed into wakefulness, a gentle murmur painted with the hues of morning.

Bennett's fingers softly brushed her face, and he uttered, "I did."
