“You have a guest, Mrs. Dreskin."

Upon hearing that, Claudia's eyebrows furrowed. She looked up in surprise. Suddenly, she had a bad feeling that Bennett's stepmother had probably shown up again. "Got it, Marcia. You can get back to work." After thinking briefly, she decided to go tell Bennett about this. Jolie obviously favored Zaria, so she must have come here to give Claudia hell concerning what happened last night.

She couldn't be more wrong, though. It turned out that her visitor wasn't Jolie, but Zaria!

Zaria didn't come to make trouble.

She came to "repay" Claudia's kindness. Strange!

Earlier, Claudia had seen Bennett walk into the study, so she figured that he must still be in there.

She made a beeline for the study and knocked on the door.

“Bennett, you in there?"

The door was slightly ajar. It opened a Little more after she knocked twice.

Considering recent events, Claudia didn't want to peek in for fear of seeing what she wasn't supposed to. She reached out to pull the door close. But as soon as she held the doorknob, a force pulled her forward.

The door opened all the way. Before she could blink, she slipped and fell, bumping into Bennett's chest.

She raised her head and stared into his eyes for a while. As soon as she came to her senses, she pulled back awkwardly.

Seeing that she seemed embarrassed, he glanced at the red tip of her ear and asked, "What? Did you sleepwalk again?"

Gosh! Why did he have to bring that up now? Couldn't he just forget about it?

Claudia bit her lower Lip and said in a hush, “Marcia just told me I have a visitor."

"A visitor?"

Bennett frowned. Without wasting time, he walked out of the study and said, "Let's go see who it is."

“Okay.”

Why did the visitor show up today? Didn't they have better things to do on weekend, Like resting in their own house?

Claudia followed Bennett downstairs. Once she got to the foot of the stairs, she sighted Zaria sitting on the sofa.

And she was alone.

Did she have too much of the refreshment that she had to use the bathroom?
