Chapter: 403
Anthony's sister was simply beyond description. Claudia never liked her, and now she couldn't even bear to see her face.
“Let's head this way.”
Aurora, equally aware of how annoying Everly was, concurred, “Let's leave."
Otherwise, an altercation with Everly was inevitable!
But just as Aurora and Claudia pivoted to alter their path, Everly turned and spotted them.
Claudia found herself at a loss for words.
Aurora exclaimed, "Unbelievable!"
They had tried to dodge this pestilence-bringer but failed.
Upon spotting Claudia and Aurora, Everly's face twisted with rage.
The Nixon family faced constant reproach because of what happened between Claudia and Anthony.
Claudia had been staying at home most of the time during the past two months, Everly couldn’t vent her frustration on her. But now, running into her, Everly seized the chance.
“What rotten Luck to run into you, the god of plague!"
Claudia merely rolled her eyes. Since Everly had seen her, she had no intention of evading her.
Ignoring Everly, Claudia strode past her with Aurora.
Feeling utterly disregarded, Everly stomped her foot in fury. "Stop! I'm talking to you. Are you deaf?"
Then she blocked Claudia and Aurora's way.
Feigning confusion, Claudia looked around, pointed to herself, and said deliberately, "Miss Nixon, are you speaking to me?"
"Who else? Do you see anyone else here?"
"Well, there are many shopping guides around," Aurora said.
Everly shot Aurora a furious glare and said, “Don't you have any manners? I wasn't speaking to you. Why are you interrupting?”
Turning to Claudia, she sneered.
“It seems Bennett doesn't take good care of you. You've been married for two months, yet you're still dressed in such cheap clothes.”
Claudia, wearing clothing actually worth a fortune, was dumbfounded. She... She was utterly speechless.
“Why don't you say anything? Is it because I was right?"
