Claudia had no objection to this. She harbored some concerns about Zaria's potential behavior towards her.

Her worry that Claudia might not show up led her to personally arrange for someone to remind Claudia that morning about the birthday party later on.

Upon opening her door that morning, Claudia was shocked to meet with the messenger.

How absurd!

When Claudia shut the door, she was greeted by Bennett, dressed and ready for his workday, briefcase in hand.

“Who was that?"

Hearing his voice, Claudia withdrew her sight from his long legs and said, "It's just the delivery guy.”

Bennett turned to her, curiosity in his eyes and asked, “What did he deliver?”

“Well, It was a message from Zaria, reminding me about her birthday party tonight."

Bennett seemed to be at a loss for words.

She felt speechless as well!

Following a brief, shared silence, Bennett finally spoke up. "I'Ll make sure to return early this afternoon."

“Alright ,"

Claudia agreed, nodding as she opened the door once more.

The driver was patiently waiting outside. Claudia held the door open, expecting Bennett to exit.

Bennett glanced down at her and asked, “Aren't you going to say anything?"

What was she supposed to say?

"Well, enjoy your day at work?"

Bennett's face brightened into a smile and said, "Just call me if you need anything."

“Okay.” But she was just staying home. What could she possibly need?

However, something really occurred to her Later on! Only after Claudia woke up from her nap did she recall that the birthday invitation had come directly from Zaria herself.

If she went, she couldn't just go there with her hands empty, could she?
