Chapter: 485
“Alright, I went to see handsome men."

“So you Lied to me?"

How had things escalated to her being accused of betrayal?

How absurd!

After some contemplation, Claudia explained, "I didn't lie to you. I never even looked at Mathews. I have no interest in him! But Aurora is Mathews' fan. I couldn't avoid him, could I?"

Bennett studied her for a moment before smiling warmly. "Come here.”

He gave her a wave, and then headed upstairs, moving at a pace that clearly awaited her.

When she hesitated, Bennett halted by the stairs, calling, “Aren't you coming?"

Claudia hurried after him and was led into the piano room.

Why here?

Was he upset and needing her to play a song to soothe him?

As Claudia's confusion grew, the door to the piano room swung open, revealing a vast bouquet of roses beside the white piano.

Shocked and baffled, she Looked at Bennett, questioning, “Mr. Dreskin, what is this?"

“A gift for you," he responded, walking to the piano and picking up an elegantly wrapped box.

As Claudia gazed at the unexpected offering, she stammered, "Is this... appropriate?"

Although hesitant, her hand reached out.

Who wouldn't appreciate such a romantic gesture?

“Open it and see if you like it

Embarrassed, she inquired, “Is it truly for me?

She didn't feel like she deserved it.

“Is there anyone else here?" he replied, watching as she unwrapped the gift to reveal a fine jewelry box.

Inside, Claudia found a dazzling diamond bracelet.

Well, it was definitely quite pricey.

“Thank you. I like it very much," she said, suddenly feeling her own gift for him was rather modest.
