Chapter: 546
Kristy took a moment to calm herself, and then declared, "Mark my words, she'll pay come next Saturday.”

A glint of curiosity sparked in Amya's eyes.

“What do you have in mind, Kristy?"

With a mysterious smirk, Kristy replied, "Just wait and see."

Amya held her questions back, responding, "Alright! I'm excited to see what unfolds!"

The thought of Claudia facing embarrassment the coming Saturday lightened Amya's mood. Her focus shifted to purchasing an elegant dress to wear while witnessing the spectacle.

However, Amya didn't anticipate the day's main event would have a twist.

As Claudia emerged from the fitting room, Aurora's eyes widened in admiration.

“Wow, did a fairy just step out of there? It's so beautiful. It looks too elegant. Wonderful!"

The store associate chimed in, "Ma'am, you have such a delicate aura. The Camellia collection, with its simple elegance, makes you appear even more graceful. It's a perfect match for you.”

Blushing from the shower of praises, Claudia made the purchase. Exiting the mall, Claudia noted her expenses totaled close to eight hundred thousand.

Checking the bill, she mused with regret, "No more shopping for me. Let's head to your place to relax."

Aurora, having spent over forty thousand dollars on a designer handbag, felt a similar pinch in her wallet.

The two of them, having lost their shopping mood, hailed a cab and headed to Aurora's apartment.

In the past, Claudia usually ventured out only for half the day, reserving the other half for her piano practice.

Today, Claudia had been out since six in the morning and was still here at nine in the evening. Aurora couldn't help but inquire, “Cece, it's already nine o'clock. Aren't you planning to head home?"

Claudia raised an eyebrow and asked, “Are you suggesting I leave?"

“Well, I just want to remind you that your relationship with Mr. Dreskin is a partnership. Do you understand that?"

Claudia found herself speechless.

She knew it.

She got the message.

Claudia felt even more disheartened. Concerning her connection with Bennett, it was clearly stated in plain terms — there were only interests and no emotions involved.

Just need to endure it. Once the contract expires, we can break up. She thought to herself.

By the time the clock struck half-past nine, Claudia decided to head home.
