Chapter: 610
After glancing at the two women, the waiter misunderstood their intention. "I have no idea who this Mr. Dreskin is."
"Hey, wait!"
Aurora tried to stop him, but she was too late.
Just then, the door of the private room in front of them swung open. If Bennett wasn't the one who'd come out, then who else could it be? As Claudia stood there, staring into the man's eyes, her mind went blank.
Who am I? and what am I doing here? She thought to herself.
Kayla also walked out of the private room and looked at Claudia. She raised her eyebrows and exclaimed, "Miss Marshall! What a coincidence!"
Hearing the words "Miss Marshall", Aurora almost rolled her eyes. It's actually Mrs. Dreskin, you bitch! She thought. Hearing Kayla's voice, Claudia came to her senses and nodded.
“Yes, what a coincidence indeed."
Then, she glanced at Bennett and asked, "Are you going to drop Miss Bryant off?"
Hearing her best friend's words, Aurora stared at Claudia with wide, disbelieving eyes.
“What are you talking about, Claudia? Are you okay? Are you seriously going to give up your husband to her like this?" Aurora muttered to herself.
As soon as her question left her lips, Claudia regretted asking it, but she couldn't un-ring the bell.
What was more, she said it in front of so many people. She couldn't take back her words now. That would be embarrassing.
However, in the end, she decided that she didn't care at this moment.
“My stomach feels weird, and I think I need medical attention. So can you stay with me instead?"
Claudia asked and looked directly into Bennett's eyes. Her eyes were misty yet still beautiful.
Her pitiful look reminded Bennett of the puppy he had as a boy. Bennett swept his dark eyes over her red ears and walked straight to her. He replied, "I'm sure Miss Bryant can find her way home, Mrs. Dreskin. You are always my priority.”
With a red face, Claudia glanced at Kayla and said apologetically, “I'm sorry, Miss Bryant. I'm just really not feeling well. Is it okay if you take a taxi home? We'll reimburse you for the fare."
When Kayla heard Claudia's words, her face changed again and again. At last, she managed to calm down and said, “Townsend, you should rush Miss Marshall to the hospital if she's not feeling well. You should find out what's wrong right away. I hope it's nothing serious."
Kayla's tone was so intimate when she addressed him that people who didn't know the truth might think she and Bennett were the real couple.
Claudia was unhappy to hear Kayla speak that way, but she couldn't say anything.
“Miss Bryant, are you familiar with Mr. Dreskin?" Aurora asked, raising her eyebrows.
Kayla glanced at Aurora and answered proudly, “I've known Townsend for more than 20 years."
“Wow. That's a Long time. So in those 20 years, have you yet to figure out your position in Mr. Dreskin's Life?”
