Chapter: 611
“Miss Marshall, what is your friend trying to say?"

When Kayla asked this question, Claudia didn't hold back and retorted, “I think my friend didn't mince her words, Miss Bryant. Didn't you understand her question?"

After saying that, she blinked at Bennett innocently and then added, “Have you been abroad for so long that you no Longer understand our Language?"

Bennett darted his eyes at Kayla indifferently and said, "Miss Bryant, please call me by my name next time. After all, only my mother calls me Townsend. That's her pet name for me."

Kayla wanted to say something more, but Bennett directly made it clear She froze. She took a look at Claudia and said, "Didn't you say that you were having tummy issues, Miss Marshall? Town... Bennett, you better take her to the hospital as soon as possible. Miss Marshall is starting to Look unwell to me."

She didn't Look well?

She couldn't look better!

“Thank you for your concern, Miss Bryant, but I would appreciate it if you could properly address me as Mrs. Dreskin. After all, I'm married to Mr. Dreskin here. If you call me Miss Marshall all the time, then it will appear as if I'm still single."

Kayla gritted her teeth and said, "I don't mean anything by calling you by your maiden name, Mrs. Dreskin."

“Oh, I don't think you do. I'm just voicing out my preference, just like my husband did moments ago."

Claudia didn't want to argue with Kayla anymore. She winced and said, “Ouch! Please let‘s go, Bennett!"

Bennett frowned and snaked one arm around Claudia's waist to support her.

“Okay. Let's go to the hospital."

After saying that, Bennett helped Claudia downstairs, passing by Kayla.

Claudia didn't expect that Bennett would suddenly pick her up. The restaurant was full of people.

When Bennett went downstairs with her in his arms, Claudia felt everybody's eyes on her.

Her face turned red and hot. She felt it unnecessary for Bennett to carry her down the stairs, but still, she couldn't help feeling happy.

She had finally won over Kayla.

Bennett carried Claudia all the way to the car.

He put her on the passenger seat. After making sure that she was seated comfortably, he didn't leave immediately though. He leaned in and asked, "Where does it hurt?"

When Bennett looked at her with his deep, dark eyes, Claudia felt her heart leap to her throat. She replied in a trembling voice, “Stomach.”

“Left or right side?"

As he spoke, he reached out, placed his hand on her left abdomen, and pressed.

She had just had a meal.
