Chapter: 646
“Not really. Perhaps it's your Lucky day today."

Duncan added, “Indeed.”

Claudia bit her lower lip before suggesting, “How about we have the ‘loser complete a dare?"

A sudden burst of wind caused her hair to become disheveled. Bennett raised a hand to fix it and then asked, “What kind of dare?"

“If you lose, you have to tell a complete stranger of the same sex on the golf course, ‘I love you.'"

Thrilled, Breck chirped, “Let's do that! That sounds more interesting than drinking a Liter of coke."

Duncan nodded in agreement.

“Whoever thought it was a good idea to down a liter of coke must be dumb."

Breck, the person who came up with that idea, glared at him.

He did not say anything, though, as he also could not believe that he thought of such a lame punishment.

Claudia regarded Bennett expectantly, anticipating a nod of approval. The man hummed.

“Alright. Let's do this, Mrs. Dreskin."

The look of fondness on his face as he stared at her was as clear as day.

The group stopped paying attention to Kayla after Claudia changed the subject.

Despite Bennett’s and Claudia's apparent disinterest in her, she thought that Breck, Grover, and Duncan would at least talk to her.

However, they did not even look at her as they continued to chat happily. She was standing beside them, but she was not part of their conversation at all.

Claudia was definitely doing this to embarrass her.

Kayla's hold on the club tightened, and then she asked loudly, “Are you going to play a match?"

As she spoke, she made her way to the center of the group. For a moment, Claudia was at a loss for words. She had no idea Kayla could be so shameless.

Grover, who had been silent the entire time, finally spoke up. "Do you want to play with us, Miss Bryant?"

Nodding her head, Kayla answered, "It sounds fun."

“Okay. Let's team up."

Grover's suggestion was exactly what Kayla wanted. She beamed and said cheerfully, "Sure!"

Claudia wordlessly turned her head to the side and found Bennett staring at her.
