Chapter: 680
Claudia chose to wear an elegant dress. Her slim figure was emphasized by the combination of the long beige dress and tight vest with golden embroidery around the edges. She picked up a white chain bag and examined her reflection in the mirror.
She smiled. She Liked that her outfit was simple but chic. Satisfied, she walked up to the dressing table, opened the earring box, and selected a beautiful pair of pearl earrings to wear.
Claudia stood in front of the mirror once more before picking up her bag. She then headed downstairs to Look for Bennett.
Even though her makeup was minimal, it took her a long time to decide what to wear.
She approached Bennett with an expectant smile on her face and asked, “Am I beautiful?"
“Yes, you look very nice."
Bennett got up from the sofa, walked up to her, and wrapped her arms around her slim waist. He Lowered his head and planted a kiss on her lips. "You're so beautiful that I don't want anyone else to see you."
“Hey! Claudia glared at him disapprovingly and complained, “You ruined my lipstick."
She clicked her tongue in annoyance and reached into her bag for her lipstick, which she reapplied to her Lips. Once she was satisfied, she said, "Let's go."
Bennett led her to the car and opened the door to the front passenger seat for her. "Thank..."
Claudia was about to thank him but stopped when she caught the happiness in his eyes. In her embarrassment, she swallowed the words she was about to say.
She cleared her throat and got into the car. As she fastened her seat belt, she asked, “Where are we going to eat?"
Bennett's heart melted when he met Claudia's trusting, expectant gaze.
“Do you trust me to make the decision for us?"
“Yes.”
Claudia was fine with any place he picked.
She was not a picky eater, but Bennett was.
Therefore, if he thought the food was great, then she definitely would not find it unappealing.
Bennett took her to a restaurant named Bridge River
Claudia had been there with Aurora before. Aside from the pricey menu, there was nothing to gripe about the establishment.
She liked their macarons the most. Their version of it had a smooth texture and a pleasant, subtle sweetness.
She was not a big fan of desserts, but that one surprisingly suited her taste.
Weekends were particularly busy for the restaurant, so Claudia was worried at first that there would not be any table available for them.
However, as soon as they got out of the car, Bennett took her hand and led her inside.
