Chapter: 714
Aurora would just feel jealous if Claudia went on.
Claudia agreed and immediately changed the topic.
“Hey, is it common for men to have trouble moving on from their first love?"
A client messaged Aurora. While she was typing a response, she answered Claudia's question, saying, “I think so. A lot of movies confirmed that. If the woman with whom he had his first date simply waves her hand, his attention will be immediately on her."
She had already finished her sentence when she noticed something was wrong. After sending a message to her client, Aurora turned to Claudia.
“Does your husband have a first Love who he can't forget? I haven't heard anything about him being in a relationship with anyone before you, though."
“Kayla said Bennett had been in Love with someone before."
“Why would you believe anything from your rival in love?"
Astonished, Claudia uttered, "Oh! You are right!"
Aurora sighed. After a brief pause, she remarked, “Baby, you really are a bit naive."
Claudia, thinking that Aurora was making fun of her, responded, "I actually don't believe her either. Her story was very convincing, though. She even described what kind of woman Bennett's first love is."
“Did she tell you her name?"
Claudia shook her head.
After giving it some thought, Aurora said, “I don't think Bennett is the kind of person who will commit to a woman when he has someone else in his heart. I mean, didn't he choose you."
“It was me who chose him."
Aurora blinked.
Sometimes, she forgot that the couple's marriage was fake at first.
In any case, Aurora was not in the slightest bit worried. She believed that Bennett was a decent man and if he was really in Love with someone else, he would not have made a pass on Claudia and declared his love for her.
Even though Claudia did not want to worry about it, this was an issue that would trouble any woman.
She did not have much experience in love, so she wanted to get Aurora’ opinion. However, Claudia had no intention of believing it just because Kayla said so, even if her friend actually thought Kayla was telling the truth.
She simply did not think that Bennett was that kind of person.
There were times when some happenings seemed to have been orchestrated by God. In the end, Claudia and Aurora came to the conclusion that Bennett's so-called first love was a fabrication on Kayla's part to drive a wedge between Claudia and Bennett.
They were about to leave the restaurant when they ran into the subject of their conversation, Kayla.
“Miss Marshall, you're also here. What a coincidence!"
