Bennett smiled and Looked at her as if he could see through her mind. After staring at her for what seemed Like an eternity, he set his phone down and said, "Let's read them after Lunch."

Claudia grimaced but did not argue with him. She got up and went to the dining room. "Marcia, is the food ready? I'm starving."

Marcia had finished setting the table. She put a lot of effort and preparation into the Lunch, and it showed. She prepared six different dishes in accordance with both Bennett's and Claudia's preferences.

She made little quantities of each dish, and they were just enough for Claudia and Bennett to share.

After lunch, Bennett gave Marcia the rest of the day off.
