Chapter: 830
She knew that Bennett had bought a high-speed train ticket to Khawst for seven the next morning.

Even if Claudia didn't show, Kayla planned to share the video with her then.

She was eager to see how Claudia would react when she saw Bennett in Khawst for another woman.

Time would tell.

Kayla had connections in the media. If Bennett appeared at the competition tomorrow, news of "Bennett's Old Flame" would go viral.

She might not have been able to win over that CC woman, but losing to Claudia? No way. Across town in Linmarsh, it was six in the morning, and Duncan was struggling to keep his eyes open.

He couldn't understand why Bennett insisted on taking the high-speed train to Khawst so early, and why he had to be dragged along.

Due to his Lack of sleep, Duncan was groggy. He Looked over at Bennett and grumbled, “If you don't provide a decent reason, we're done as friends!"

Normally, Bennett would brush off Duncan's complaints, but today was different. "Don't you want to know about the woman I can't forget?"

Perking up, Duncan rubbed his eyes.

“If it's about that, then sleep can wait.

Spill the details!"

Bennett looked at Duncan and said, "No need for the long story. You'll know once the motorboat race starts. Keep an eye out for a competitor named CC."

“Is she the one? Your sweetheart?"

Bennett didn't confirm or deny, which was as good as an admission. Duncan had often joked about Bennett had someone special in his heart, but now that Bennett was married and this “special one" reappeared, Duncan's thoughts went straight to Claudia and he got worried.

“Are you serious?"

“Do you think I woke up this early just to crack a joke?"

Duncan was stunned for a moment before speaking up.

“Need I remind you, you're married now!"

"Do you think I'm unaware of that?" Bennett retorted.

So, you're planning to cheat? Really want to be that guy?"

Silence filled the car.

“Speak up, Bennett. If you go through with this, I’m cutting ties with you. I'm dead serious. Don't pretend you can't hear me."

“I'm not cheating on my wife," Bennett finally said, visibly annoyed by Duncan's incessant questioning.
