Chapter: 915
“Let's go inside, and then we can open it Bennett reached out and grabbed her head. Claudia nodded in agreement.
“Okay. Let's go."
She wondered if Bennett would like his gift. He would not think that she was too stingy, would she?
As they made their way inside the house, Claudia could not help but feel nervous.
Bennett always showered her with gifts, but this was her first time returning the favor.
She entered the villa, her mind a jumble of speculations. She snapped out of her thoughts when she heard someone calling her name repeatedly.
“What are you thinking about?"
Claudia glanced at Bennett before she looked down and discovered she was completely lost in her thoughts.
Her ears flushed, and she changed into the indoor slippers without wasting a second.
In the kitchen, Marcia was preparing dinner, Bennett led Claudia straight to their room.
Claudia followed him to the sofa in the bedroom and sat down, Bennett placed the paper bag containing the necklace on the coffee table and grabbed the other bag that had his gift. He opened it and took out a small box.
Claudia watched as Bennett opened the box with wide eyes. Bennett's eyes flashed upon seeing the collar clip inside, "A collar clip?"
Nodding, Claudia studied the man's face, hoping to find any sort of emotion in his expression. However, she found none.
There was no expression on his face.
Claudia bit her lower Lip before saying, “I saw it and thought it looked nice, so I bought it for you.
She did not have enough courage to tell him that she had spent a lot of time searching for the perfect gift because she wanted to give him something.
Bennett stared at the collar clip in the box and said, “I like it very much. Thank you, Mrs. Dreskin."
Claudia blinked.
"Do you really like it?"
Bennett clicked his tongue and asked, “Do you think I'm lying?"
She quickly responded.
“No. I just think that it doesn't matter if you don't like it. I know it's not worth much.."
“I like everything you gave and will give me, Mrs. Dreskin."
Bennett placed the box containing the collar clip on the coffee table, grabbed his phone, and snapped a photo of it.
