Chapter: 950
What a coincidence it was to run into them here.

"Yes, it's me. You helped us a lot. It's so good that we meet again." At that moment, Gustavo realized he never caught her name.

“Miss, I never did get your name, Fate has brought us together once more! I was sitting behind you on the plane just now. We're not bad people; we just want to be friends!" he exclaimed.

She initially thought it was a ploy when someone had touched her from behind on the plane, but now it turned out to be a man she had met in the past.

Feeling embarrassed, she introduced herself.

"I'm Claudia Marshall

“Claudia, it's a nice name

Thank you!"

“I'm Gustavo Green," Gustavo's outgoing nature was evident in his warm demeanor.

"The man you helped is my friend, Xavier Hinchcliffe." Xavier appeared a bit more reserved, but he nodded.

Xavier Hinchcliffe. The name sounded familiar, but Claudia couldn't place it.

Who was he?

Claudia glanced at the man standing next to Gustavo. The dim lighting inside the car the other night made it difficult to discern his features. Despite the poor visibility, she did recall that his complexion was pale, and his expression conveyed a deep sense of misery and agony. It was evident that he was in a great deal of pain.

At this moment, she could see him clearly. His finely arched eyebrows accentuated a pair of captivating eyes. His nose had a high bridge, adding to his striking appearance, and his lips were a deep shade of crimson.

She averted her gaze politely after that single, observant look. Shifting her attention back to Gustavo, she inquired, “What can I do for you, Mr. Green?"

“Oh, nothing, It's just that you helped us a lot that night. We owe you our thanks. Are you available now? We'd like to invite you to join us for lunch."

While Gustavo spoke, he glanced at Xavier and remarked, “Your flight's scheduled for four o'clock in the afternoon. You have plenty of time to treat your rescuer to lunch, right?"

Claudia hesitated and was about to refuse them. But before she could respond, Joann arrived.

When Joann saw Claudia, she hurried over.

“I'm sorry, Have you been waiting for long? I was held up by some incident that happened on the plane.”

Her seat was towards the rear of the plane. When she was preparing to leave, a passenger declared his mobile phone was missing. He adamantly opposed letting anyone get off the plane and insisted on involving the police.

After a brief search, the man found his phone buried in his trash bag.

Curious, Claudia inquired, “Is everything all right?"

“Oh, it was nothing serious," Joann said, glancing at the two men and noticing them for the first time.
