Chapter: 1726
They quickly got him into Camila's car.
Right now, finding fault with the driver wasn't her priority. Aldrin needed a medical check-up immediately.
Despite her driver's speedy driving, it took them half an hour to reach the hospital.
Camila, not currently a practicing doctor at this hospital but still holding a medical license, participated in Aldrin's examination with the hospital leaders' permission.
Thankfully, the situation wasn't dire.
Aldrin had just knocked himself unconscious and cut his forehead.
After cleaning the wound, they needed to keep him under observation.
If he showed no discomfort in the next 24 hours, he could be discharged.
Camila then stepped out of the examination room.
The driver who had collided with Aldrin had also shown up at the hospital. Despite his fear of legal consequences, he paced the corridor, visibly worried.
"You're free to go," Camila told him.
The driver mentioned, "I've already reported it to the insurance company..."
"There's no need for you to come back. I won't blame you for this.
You can go home now," Camila reassured him. She had no intention of stirring up any trouble.
After all, Aldrin was doing just fine.
“So, should I head out now?" The driver, taken aback by her easy-going nature, couldn't quite believe it. He cautiously inquired, “Are you sure I can leave?"
Camila confirmed, "Yes, you can leave."
With that, the driver departed.
Finding herself alone, Camila instructed her driver, "Once he wakes up, you can head back."
"Understood," her driver responded.
