Chapter: 1833
When she got to the hotel door with the porridge, she saw Forrest outside talking to another girt.
Laura couldn't catch their conversation from where she was.
The girl gave Forrest a smile.
They looked like they were made for each other.
The girl's smile was genuine.
Laura couldn't see Forrest's face, but she figured he was charmed by this attractive young lady. He probably wanted to start fresh.
It'd be better for her not to see him again.
Laura had hoped they could continue their relationship.
But she was mistaken.
Was she just being overly sentimental last night?
She tossed the porridge in the bin, turned, and walked away briskly.
"Was it you last night?"
At the hotel entrance, Forrest looked furious. He fixed his gaze on the girl standing before him, barely remembering her.
The girl realized he had forgotten about being left at the door by her.
“It was me," she said with a smile.
Forrest suddenly recalled having seen Laura.
Her image was vivid in his mind.
It was so clear!
He wondered if he missed her so much that he started seeing things.
Was he mistaking this woman for her?
