Chapter: 1859
The secretary holding coffee hesitated at the office entrance, unsure whether to come in or leave.
"Sorry, I forgot to knock," he said.
The person at the door was a male secretary.
After an incident with the previous secretary, Isaac decided to hire a male for the role.
Having a secretary was crucial for his work.
The secretary discreetly bowed his head, pretending not to notice anything.
Camila stayed silent, feeling embarrassed.
She slowly let go of Isaac's collar, and turned away from the door.
She felt too embarrassed to face anyone in this company in the future.
Isaac straightened himself, adjusted his collar, and said, “Just put it on the table."
The secretary entered, placed the coffee on the table, then left, closing the door carefully behind him.
"The coffee here is good, have some," Isaac offered.
Camila bit her lip. "You have it."
She tried to leave.
But Isaac stopped her. “Are you really mad?"
Camila was close to tears. "I came to pick you up from work, not to make a fool of myself."
Isaac, gently, hugged her. "Why feel ashamed? You like teasing me, and it's just how we show love as a couple. If anyone saw, they'd only be jealous, not making fun of us."
"Don't try to fool me; I'm not dumb. You're a respected man, and having a wife like me, what will people say?" She was really mad, her eyes turning red with anger. “It's all because of you."
"Alright, blame me," Isaac apologized. "Sorry, I won't let you kiss me at the office anymore. We'll save it for home."
Camila paused.
