Chapter: 1860
She raised her hand to hit him, but he caught it.
Isaac smiled. "You can't beat me."
Camila was rendered speechless again.
He whispered in her ear, “I won't let you kiss me. I'll be the one kissing you."
As he spoke, he kissed her.
Camila's eyes widened in shock!
Shocked, she was frozen and unable to react.
She felt silly for letting him kiss her, but she was too stunned to do anything else.
Soon enough, Camila was able to relax. This immediately lightened her up.
Isaac let go of her after a while, and when he did, her lips were damp and ruddy from the prolonged contact with his like freshly-picked cherries during the summer.
"When do you get off work?" she murmured, her gaze Lowering a degree.
“I might leave a bit later than usual today because I have a meeting at six," he answered while looking back down at her fondly.
It was almost six when Camila checked the time. "It wouldn't be long until your meeting starts. I'll just wait for you, so we can go home together."
“Okay," Isaac agreed, “I like that."
The embarrassment now completely out of her system, she threw herself on the sofa. She reached out for a random book within her reach.
Isaac walked to get his coffee before taking the seat next to Camila.
“We'll find a way to correct things about the image issue," he said.
Camila hated this topic.
"My reputation is already tarnished, so just let it be. There's no use to crying over spilled milk," she told him pessimistically.
"They'll just judge you for choosing a woman who only cares about love and can't help you with your work. But then again, what they think isn't that wrong, so let's just let them think whatever they want."
