His life could be at risk.
Hyman looked at her and asked, “Camila, why aren't you saying anything? Is he in critical condition?"
Camila remained silent.
She needed to compose herself and think clearly.
Glancing at Hyman, she instructed him to return to the research center and fetch the artificial heart.
Hyman was taken aback. "Is it really that bad? Besides, isn't the heart still experimental? We can't use it for real, can we?"
"Just in case. I fear the director may need it."
Camila understood well that the director's survival this time was uncertain.
"But..."
"Go," Camila interrupted.
She didn't have time for further explanations.
Every moment counts when it comes to saving Lives!
Hyman hesitated.
"Please, hurry," Camila urged. "Trust me. I'll take care of him."
After some hesitation, Hyman swiftly turned and dashed out.
"Tell Eagle to drive you there using my car!" Camila's voice echoed after him, The taxi felt unbearably slow.
"Got it," Hyman replied.
Suddenly, the operating room door swung open. A nurse emerged, asking, "Is the patient's family here?"
Stepping forward, Camila replied, “That's me."
“The patient's condition is critical. The doctor will update you soon. Please wait here."
