"Go for it," Isaac said.

"But..." Morrison hesitated.

“I'll deal with whatever happens," Isaac assured him. "Just do what you need to do."

With Isaac's backing, Morrison went to share the plan with Laura.

Alick handed out the tools.

Laura was good at autopsy, so she got right to it.

She inspected the body thoroughly.

And sure enough, she found something off.

"He might have been poisoned," Laura said.

"What? Poisoned?" Camila couldn't believe it.

She'd considered all sorts of reasons-maybe the surgery went wrong, or maybe it was something emotional. But she'd never expected poison.

"I'm pretty sure," Laura replied, handing her a small bag, in which there was something extracted from the body. "Get this tested."

Camila took the bag and said, “Okay.”

She told Alick to take everyone back to the hotel.

Then she headed to the research institute to get whatever was in the bag tested.

Isaac went with her.

She put on a white lab coat. Isaac waited outside the lab, watching her through the glass window.

By midnight, the whole city was dead silent.

Smack!

The quiet was shattered by a sudden noise.
