"I envy you and Isaac so much."

“Are you planning to stay a bit longer this time?" Camila deliberately shifted the conversation.

Annis shook her head. "I took leave to come here, so I can only stay for one more day."

She just wanted to make a quick visit to check on Alick While Annis looked after Bowen at home, Rowena and Camila went out shopping.

Guests were expected at home tonight.

They needed to prepare some especially good food.

Camila pushed the shopping cart with one hand while calling Isaac with the other.

"Hello?" A deep voice answered.

Camila asked, “Are you free today? Could you come home a Little earlier?"

"Is something the matter?"

"Yes. I've invited Laura over for dinner, and Annis is here too, but don't tell Alick. It's meant to be a surprise. Bring him home for dinner tonight."

"Understood."

An idea struck Camila. She asked, "By the way, how is everything going with Mr. Garland's situation?"

"I'll tell you when I get home tonight." After saying that, Isaac ended the call.

Camila was speechless.

She stared at the phone screen that now showed the call had ended.
