Chapter: 2167
“Okay, sir," Wynter replied curtly.

With that, Camila had no choice but to sit back on the couch and wait.

It was already dark outside when the meeting ended.

Camila stretched her arms and back, exclaiming, "Finally, you're done!"

Isaac rose from the swivel chair and joined her on the couch, smoothing her hair. “Were you bored?"

“Not really. I was just worried about my mother looking after the kids by herself," Camila replied.

“I know, but it's hard to find a house helper that's reliable and an all-rounder these days," Isaac said, his tone a bit apologetic.

"It's okay. I'll be at home as much as possible," Camila reassured him.

“But you can't always ask for days off. It won't look good on your performance at work," Isaac reminded her.

Camila looked at him with a warm smile but said nothing.

Soon, they were on the road, heading to the restaurant. Sitting on the passenger seat, Camila asked Isaac, “What are your favorite dishes? I'll learn and cook them for you."

Isaac's brows furrowed, feigning hurt. “We've been living together for so long, but you don't even know what my favorite dishes are?"

Camila bit her lower Lip, caught off guard.

“Well, do you know my favorite dishes?" she retorted.

Isaac fell silent, caught unaware by her question.

“Alright, you win. I'll pay attention to your favorites from now on. We were both too busy to know each other's likes and dislikes,"

Isaac said.

With a smile, Camila linked arms with him and said, "I like lLight- flavored food. I'm not really a picky eater. As long as it's good for the gut, I'll be fine."

It must be because she was a doctor.

She couldn't help but be a little bit health-conscious and prefer light-flavored food.
