It wasn't her fault.

Her heart and body had suffered more than his.

So, he had to be kind to her.

He had to be patient with her.

He had to accept her as she was.

Maybe that was the best way to ease her pain.

The morning started with Camila in her pajamas.

After breakfast, she reached up on her toes to help Isaac with his tie.

She wasn't very good at it. The knot didn't come out right.

She scrunched her brow in frustration.

Isaac laughed. "I can manage!"

Camila put her hands behind her back and asked, "Am I being a klutz?"

Isaac shook his head. "Nope."

She knew she had a lot to learn to be a perfect wife and mother.

Isaac fixed his tie. Camila took his arm and they walked downstairs together to see him off.

After he left, she tidied up the kitchen, got Bowen to nap, and then stepped out.

She was heading to resign today.

At the research institute, she asked Hyman to call everyone to a meeting.

"Are you resigning?" Hyman asked.
