Chapter: 2311
“I'm not," Forrest replied bluntly.

After all, wouldn't they uncover the truth once they rescued Isaac?

Speculation seemed futile.

"You're so boring," Willie remarked, pursing his lips. “I just want to pass the time. Imagine how depressing the atmosphere would be if none of us said anything."

He glanced back at Camila, noticing her worried expression.

Camila sat with clenched hands, covered in cold sweat, staring out the window.

Feeling impatient, Willie sighed and urged Forrest, “Drive faster."

Forrest glanced at him and said, "We're already going very fast. I'm driving a car, not a plane. Don't you think I want to go faster too?"

Forrest added in a low voice, “Stop being annoying."

“You're the one being annoying," Willie shot back.

The car raced along the flat road, but to Willie, it felt agonizingly slow.

He wished they could arrive instantly.

After running out of gas, they stopped at a gas station, filled the tank, and continued without a break.

This time, it was Forrest's turn to complain. "You said it wasn't far. We ran out of gas, and we're still not there."

“This car just consumes a little more gasoline than other cars do,"

Willie replied coldly. “It's not a long way.”

“Why are you driving this kind of car?" Forrest asked.

“Because it's fast," Willie replied.

Forrest rolled his eyes and muttered, “Fast, my ass!"

Willie was left speechless. “Why are you swearing?"
