Camilla wanted Annis to go back to Faymoor but couldn't bring herself to say it.

She knew Annis would know something was wrong when she looked into Isaac's eyes. Maybe Annis had already noticed something off.

Camila looked defeated.

She decided to bite the bullet.

Annis noticed the absent-minded look on Camila's face. With a smile on her face, she asked, “What are you thinking about, Camila? You look distracted."

Camila sighed and said, "Don't you watch the news?"

“I've been busy. I just finished working on an important project before I was allowed to leave," Annis answered.

This implied that she had no time to watch the news. She worked overtime every day. She got home from work in the middle of the night and was out the door for work before dawn.

"Isaac was involved in a plane crash when he traveled from Azmar to Clouland," Camila said.

"Is he alright?" Annis asked, panicking.

"He's fine. But his eyes were hurt. Alick went to deal with it. I wasn't going to tell you because I didn't want to worry you. Alick also didn't contact you for the same reason, I suppose."

"Really?" Annis asked doubtfully.

“Why would I lie to you? You don't have to take my word for it anyway. You'll see when we get him," Camila replied.

She knew it was not going to be possible to send Annis away, so she might as well bring her home.

"Let's go home now," Annis suddenly said.

Camila turned to look at her.

Seeing Camila's inquisitive look, Annis said, “Isaac had such a big incident, but I knew nothing about that. I feel so sorry. I just want to go home and see how he's doing."

"He's actually much better now," Camila said, trying to comfort her.

“Didn't you just say his eyes were hurt? How bad is the damage?”

There was a moment of silence before Camila finally said, "The doctor said the damage could be reversed."
