Chapter: 2410
Camila inhaled deeply before responding, “Is there truly any distinction? If he Likes me, surely that implies he loves me, right? How can someone love without liking? It's absurd, isn't it?"

Her calmness stemmed from Forrest's earlier comment that Isaac liked but didn't love her. To her, feeling liked was sufficient. She saw no difference between liking and loving.

Forrest's lips twisted into a smirk. "So why did you use such a question to stop me?"

At a loss for words, Camila stammered, "I didn't mean to..."

He pushed her gently toward the door, stating, “I get it, I get it. This is just about keeping me away from Laura, isn't it? Well, I won't bother her."

“I'm glad you understand," Camila responded.

As he shut the door behind her, Forrest rolled his eyes. Why did he agree so easily?

He didn't intend to be presumptuous. Rather, he felt his life was his own to control. He had decisions to make independently, without heeding others' advice. He rolled his eyes, his mind drifting into deep thought.

The next day, Camila noticed Forrest's absence in the morning and asked, “Hasn't he gotten up yet?"

Glenda responded, “When I woke up, he was already up."

“When did you wake up?" Camila knew Glenda always rose early, no matter the circumstances.

"About five o'clock or something..." Glenda wasn't sure.

Frowning, Camila sensed something amiss. Forrest's behavior seemed unusual. She quickly pulled out her phone and dialed his number.

Thankfully, he answered.

“Where are you?" Camila asked urgently.

“I'm at the airport," Forrest responded plainly.

Clutching the phone tighter, Camila asked, “What are you doing at the airport?"

"I have something to handle, so I need to go back home," Forrest explained.

Knowing his intentions, Camila pressed, "You're going to see Laura, aren't you?"

Forrest remained silent, his silence serving as an admission.
