Chapter: 2411
"What do you mean?" Camila couldn't maintain her composure.

"You know the answer. Do you really need to ask?"

"Come back!" Camila's roar was subdued yet forceful.

Forrest replied with calm, “If I did everything you asked, I'd feel ashamed, wouldn't 1?"

"You said you wouldn't go!" Camila was livid.

“Don't be mad. I'm going. You can't stop me. Getting angry is pointless..."

"Come back," she implored again. "If you need to say or do something, let's discuss it first. Don't act on impulse and make a mistake you'll regret!"

Camila did her best to maintain a calm tone, attempting to reason with him. However, Forrest was no longer a child. His decision was made, not on a whim, but after considering the consequences.

“Don't worry," he soothed.

Unable to contain herself, Camila yelled, "Forrest!"

“It's bad for your health to get this upset. I have to hang up now. My flight is boarding." With that, Forrest ended the call.

Camila tried calling back, but there was no response. On her third attempt, she discovered his phone was off. Speechless, she realized her oversight. She hadn't expected Forrest to take such drastic measures.

Now, unable to stop him, she needed to warn Laura immediately to give her time to prepare. She swiftly dialed Laura's number.

Laura's phone vibrated on the sofa. She had set it to this mode because the last time it rang, it woke Honey, who had just fallen asleep and then cried for a long time. To avoid a repeat of that incident, she had switched to vibration mode, ensuring it wouldn't startle her child again. While she was busy washing clothes and then breastfeeding Honey in the bedroom, the phone continued to vibrate unnoticed.

After feeding her baby, she folded the dry clothes and stored them in the cabinet. She hadn't slept well the previous night and, once the chores were done, she lay down on the bed to nap with her daughter cradled in her arms. Now that she and Morrison were a true couple, their nights were often long as Morrison loved her deeply, leaving her sleep-deprived. She needed these naps to recharge.

Morrison entered, carrying fish he had bought for cooking. Laura's milk production was dwindling, and Honey was now mostly on formula.

He planned to make soup with the fish and spareribs to help Laura.

The fish was already gutted, making it easier to prepare. He spent some time in the kitchen, eventually setting all the ingredients into a simmering casserole. He even bought a book filled with soup recipes, knowing how challenging it was for Laura to care for the baby. With the holiday ending soon, he wanted to support her as much as possible.

After preparing the soup, Morrison stepped out of the kitchen and noticed the vibrating phone on the sofa. He walked over, picked it up, and saw it was Camila calling.

Intent on informing Laura, he headed to the bedroom but decided against waking her when he saw her sleeping peacefully. The phone rang again.
