Holden chuckled and playfully waved at him.

Seeing Holden waving at him, Melon's eyes lit up immediately. The little boy was so excited. He ran over as fast as he could and wrapped his arms around Holden's legs, looking at Holden fondly.

They seemed to be so in tune with each other. They were both careful not to make any noise that might disturb Ariana in her sleep. Holden gently ruffled Melon's hair and lifted him into his arms. He then carried the little boy to the dining room.

Once in the dining room, he placed the child at the table and headed towards the kitchen. In the kitchen, Holden quickly heated some milk and toasted a slice of bread. Soon, he came back with a simple breakfast. "Mom has a head injury. I need you to remind Mom to apply the medicine in time, okay?" he said gently to Melon as he put the food in front of him.

Hearing what Holden said, Melon straightened up and saluted with a serious expression. “Yes, sir."
