Chapter: 1077
"Yes. I can be your guide and show you around the school Later on,” Vivian answered with a smile.

The director smiled in satisfaction. He nodded and said, "That will be great. We'll also like to have a look at the music school and literature school. We'll spend the whole day here. Let's shoot everything that's worth shooting."

"Got it!" Vivian smiled and added, "The music school and the Literature school happen to be right next to our school, and luckily, I am quite familiar with them."

The director nodded approvingly and then Looked at Maria with a frown. He couldn't let Maria appear too early, or they would probably get a Lot of negative comments from the audience because of her. He refused to let her ruin the reputation of the whole show.

With this in mind, the director said seriously, "We don't need all the guests to appear in the show at once. It'll be better if you show up successively. That way, the audience would be pleasantly surprised everytime."

He tried to smooth things over, but the three regular guests quickly understood what he was trying to do.

They had worked with the director on all the six episodes preceding this one, so they could say they knew him by now. The three guests looked at each other with knowing smiles on their faces.

As if they could read his mind, they heard the director announce, "We'll start with Shera and Vivian. You girls will introduce yourselves to the audience at the beginning of the show. After that, Lyman and Beuford will join you as the other regular guests. Maria, since you are not a student of Sheffield University, just wait for my next instructions. You can enjoy yourself around the place while waiting."

Maria didn't have to be a genius to understand what was going on. The director didn't want her in the show.

“Okay," Maria replied simply.

She really didn't mind doing as the director said as long as she got paid. Besides, she had received the payment from the production team the day before. So, she would do whatever the director said without arguing.

It was just a pity that the director's plan was too obvious.

Since Maria didn't go to any college, that meant she would never appear in the show wherever they went, right?

“Sir, I'm not a student of the southern part of the Sheffield University here either. So, I guess I won't participate in today's filming," Darren suddenly said.

“What? Er, but..."

The director was flustered and at a loss for words.

He felt Like his plan had backfired on him.

Why was Darren doing this?

“Darren... Do you have other plans? Anything urgent? We can adjust our schedule to accommodate yours," the director said in a flattering tone.

He had bet the success of this show on Darren, but if Darren wouldn't appear in the show... He couldn't let that happen.

“No, I'm don't have anything urgent to do," Darren said and explained, “The thing is that I have to follow Maria wherever she goes and help with her things. If she won't be in today's recording, I might as well skip it too."

The director looked at him in confusion. What did this mean?

“But... You don't have to do that, Darren. I can ask one of our people to stay with Maria," the director said, still trying to understand why Darren would want to stay with Maria and be her sidekick.

Darren was the greatest star in the team right now, and the director needed to use his popularity to their advantage. If anything, Darren had to appear in the show more than everyone.
