Chapter: 1120
“Don't worry," he reassured her with a smile. "Some of these netizens are practically asking to be humiliated, and I'll be sure to grant their wishes."
Julie elicited another sigh of relief, a longer one this time.
The show had already progressed to the part where the guests were entering the conference venue.
When the camera panned over to the people on stage, another commotion erupted among the viewers.
"Oh, my God! My College Life is really one of the best shows to ever exist! To think that they were able to get admission to a high-profile forum Like this one!"
“I saw Mr. Chaz Bennett in the line of experts! He's an important leading figure in Sheffield University's Mathematics and Science School!"
“It's Professor Chandler! He's my one and only idol, the torch of knowledge himself!"
“Wait, is that elderly gentleman Professor Lee? He is the former dean of the Mathematics and Science School. My grandfather and father hold him in the highest esteem, as do I.
I'm glad to see that he is still in good health!"
The viewers thought that Curt's appearance in the first part of the seventh episode was already the highlight of the show.
But they soon realized that they were just getting to the most exciting part right now.
The open forum session between the guests and the scientists was shaping up to be the most talked about portion of the reality show.
“Are there aliens in the world?"
“If there really are aliens out there, will they be friendly or hostile to humans?"
“Are humans ready to discover an alien civilization?"
“How can we prevent the naive human civilization from being discovered by aliens, until we have the strength to fight them?"
As the questions progressed throughout the forum, so did the level of their difficulty.
Even the viewers found themselves scratching their heads in bewilderment. To them, the questions had the point beyond comprehension. No amount of logical reasoning would be enough to address them.
“Why isn't Maria in this part?" Julie asked, her brows furrowed.
From start to finish, Maria was treated as though she didn't exist. They didn't even get a single shot of her throughout the duration of the forum.
As the show wrapped up, it was voting time again.
“First place, Darren."
“Second place, Beuford.”
“Third place, Shera."
