"I have no doubt that he or she is right here amongst us," Maria replied mysteriously.

Maria's words brought back the tension.

“Fortunately, there's no cameras in the room. That will make their task more difficult," Elma cackled to herself silently.

Francis also noticed the problem and said, "How unfortunate! There're no surveillance cameras here. Otherwise, we would've found out who poisoned Judy sooner."

The boss of the recording studio arrived at the site at that moment. A look of embarrassment crossed his face as he heard Francis' words.

Who would have thought that a case of poisoning would take place inside this recording studio?

Who was responsible for such a despicable crime?

Everyone present was not new to the workplace and it didn't take long for them to realize that this was a poisoning incident, clearly caused by some vicious competition.

It, therefore, was reasonable to infer that the person culpable could only be one of Hanna, Rylee, or Elma.

Rylee, who owned the thermos cup, was the prime suspect.

Now she looked very upset, her eyes red.

She knew she was the top suspect but had no idea how to clear her name.

“I've called the police," Francis said solemnly.

“Before they arrive, if someone is willing to confess to this, I'm willing to testify her confession. Confess and a more lenient punishment should be assigned."

However, no one made any admission in answer to Francis's offer.

It was only to be expected.

What he'd said was absolutely right. If one confessed guilty, the punishment should be lighter. However, it was also clear that, among the three, whoever confessed to the poisoning would end her singing career herself.

Knowing this, no one spoke up.

“I'm innocent!"

Elma broke the silence suddenly. She looked around impatiently, before continuing, "I haven't spoken a word to them since I came to the lounge. ALL I've done is sit here quietly Listening to songs.
