Chapter: 401
So she began racking her brain to come up with facts that proved the contrary of what Boden was saying.

“Maria moved to our house just some months ago, right? And Mia's Female Military Counsellor was released last year. If I'm not wrong, Maria was a part-time clerk in the digital store at the time. Where did she get the time to write anything, talkless of this type of novel. It's impossible, right?"

Vivian looked at her mother, silently praying that she would agree with her.

“Mom, did you ever notice that Maria Liked writing novels? Did she ever tell you anything about it? Did she even Like reading?”

Julie thought about it for a while and shook her head slowly. "You're right. Maria didn't read much at home, and I never heard her talk about writing. What I do know, is that she is good at cooking and karate."

Vivian let out a breath of relief after this. That was all she needed to be reassured.

Although Julie said this, she still had some doubts. Her daughter rarely read books too, and seemed to have no interest in writing. So it was also difficult to believe that Vivian suddenly start writing.

It was the same thing with Maria. They didn't notice these things about her, but that didn't mean she couldn't have written the book.

Of course, Julie didn't speak out her thoughts. She didn't want to hurt Vivian's feelings.

Boden smiled and nodded as he Listened to the women talk.

"She was obviously just practicing her handwriting then. I happen to know some friends in the writer's association. They usually share their creation experiences with me. It takes a lot of energy and determination to read, accumulate, think and create a good literary work. I also heard that the more talented a writer is, the longer it takes for them to create. What do you think about that, Vivian?"

Vivian was stunned when Boden said all of this and then asked her opinion about it. But then, she quickly shook off her surprise and answered, “Well, yes... When I was writing Song of Phoenix, I thought about it all the time that some plots even came to me when I was sleeping. That is, in my dreams."

After that, they all came to the conclusion that Maria used this notebook to practise her writing.

In Anthony's villa.

Maria opened all the suitcases and emptied them.

“Where is it? It's not here!" she muttered with knitted eyebrows and then rubbed her temples in frustration.

“What's wrong?" Anthony quickly held her hand and stopped her when he saw what she was doing.

“I lost my notebook...“ Maria murmured in a soft voice.

“Maybe I left it in the Jenkins's house. I have to go back and get it."

"I'LL go with you," Anthony said.
